Casio expands its premium Oceanus line with the Retro Tone Collection, releasing the Classic Line OCW-T2600RL-3AJR and Manta OCW-S400RL-8AJR
They express warmth, sophisticated finishes, and advanced solar-powered movements. Casio draws inspiration from vintage watch aesthetic balance and artisanal leather craft.
Both timepieces utilize genuine full-vegetable tanned cowhide leather straps from Tochigi Leather Company.

Founded in 1937, Tochigi Leather employs a traditional pit-tanning process with natural plant tannins. The resulting leather ages gracefully, developing a rich patina and softening over years of wear.
The dials feature a specially developed three-layer finishing technique to achieve a vintage look. Craftsmen apply fine pearlescent texturing, silver vapor deposition, color coating, and gradient printing.
Light transitions smoothly from bright dial centers toward darker outer perimeters. This construction maintains solar cell light transmission while providing vibrant depth.
Casio Oceanus Classic Line OCW-T2600RL-3AJR

The Oceanus Classic Line OCW-T2600RL-3AJR offers a multi-hand chronograph layout. Casio limited this Japanese domestic market edition to 500 pieces.
The watch features lightweight titanium for the case and bezel. Zaratsu polishing creates mirror-like distortion-free surfaces alongside brushed finishes. A protective titanium carbide treatment resists daily scratch marks and preserves metallic luster.

The titanium case measures 48.2mm in length and 42.8mm in width. It features a slim profile thickness of 10.7 mm. The watch weighs 49 grams including the leather strap.
A dual-side anti-reflective coating on the sapphire glass ensures high legibility under sunlight. The case structure achieves a water resistance rating of 100 meters.

The watch pairs with a black Tochigi leather strap with tonal stitching. The strap fits wrist sizes ranging from 160 mm to 200 mm.
The OCW-T2600RL-3AJR features a deep green half-matte gradient dial color. A fine matte sandblasted texture scatters light across the surface.

Three sub-dials provide chronograph tracking and calendar displays. Straight solid bar hour markers add structural clarity. Neobrite luminous paint coats the hands and indices for visibility in low light.
Casio drives this model with a Tough Solar quartz movement. A Multi-Band 6 radio controller receives atomic clock calibration signals automatically. It connects across stations in Japan, North America, Europe, and China.

Key functions include a 1/20-second chronograph up to 60 minutes. It features World Time for 29 cities and UTC.
Additional functions include automatic hand position correction, full auto-calendar, and power saving mode. The movement operates for 5 months on a full charge without light access. This watch is priced at JPY 115,500.
Casio Oceanus Manta OCW-S400RL-8AJR

The Oceanus Manta OCW-S400RL-8AJR represents the slim, refined luxury tier of the collection. Casio limits this model to 300 pieces in Japan.
This Manta model utilizes lightweight titanium with specialized surface finishes. The bezel top features a frosted sapphire glass ring with a rose gold ion-plated edge.

Laser processing gives the sapphire ring a soft frost texture that absorbs light softly. World time city codes are engraved around the bezel surface.
The case measures 46.5mm in length and 41.3mm in width. It features an ultra-slim thickness of 9.2mm. The watch weighs 38 grams.

A dual-curved sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating protects the dial. The construction offers a water resistance of 100 meters.
This model uses a black Tochigi leather strap with subtle edge stitching. It accommodates wrist sizes between 160 mm and 200 mm.

The OCW-S400RL-8AJR displays a three-hand layout with a date window at 3 o’clock. The dial presents a charcoal gray half-matte gradient color.
The center reveals lighter gray tones, darkening gently toward the minute track. Faceted rose-gold colored hands and indices mirror the accent colors on the bezel.

The Manta uses a Tough Solar movement paired with Bluetooth Mobile Link connectivity. The watch syncs with the CASIO WATCHES smartphone application for instant time adjustment. It also receives Multi-Band 6 radio signals for standalone precision.
App features include automatic time updates, easy watch settings, time and place loggers, and phone finder. The movement functions for approximately 5 months during normal use after a full solar charge. This watch is priced at JPY 165,000.
