The watch features a compact case diameter of 36.6mm that fits elegantly on most wrist sizes. Its total case thickness measures an astonishingly slim 4.5mm from top crystal to solid case back.
The Citizen constructed the durable case from high-grade stainless steel to ensure structural integrity despite its extreme thinness. The case surface treatment utilizes Duratect DLC coating, which produces a deep and smooth black finish.
Duratect DLC creates a scratch-resistant barrier that preserves the pristine metallic aesthetics over years of daily wear. The dark coating creates a dramatic dark backdrop that enhances every single detail on the watch face.
To shield the detailed dial, Citizen fitted an ultra-thin sapphire crystal glass across the front watch face. The sapphire glass receives Citizen’s proprietary clarity coating treatment to reduce light reflection.
