Casio has introduced the G-Shock Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 Series representing a pinnacle of aviation timepiece engineering. This series consists of three models: the GWR-B3000-1A (silver tone), the GWR-B3000A-2A (blue tone), and the GWR-B3000B-8A (black tone).

This collection features a newly developed movement and robust construction for timekeeping and durability in extreme environments. Designers drew direct inspiration from the extreme speeds and punishing conditions of modern supersonic fighter jets.

The overall design language reflects the complex, aesthetic look of advanced cockpit instrument panels. To achieve this, Casio engineered a revolutionary dual hollow case structure utilizing cutting-edge computer-aided engineering.

Topology analysis optimized the spatial relationships of multiple components to minimize weight while maximizing durability. The outer case consists of robust stainless-steel protectors fabricated through high-precision metal injection molding techniques.

These protectors seamlessly blend with advanced resin shock-absorbing components that remain visible on the exterior side. The inner center case floats within this matrix, anchored securely at four distinct, separated points. This complex design showcases structural beauty while delivering a highly comfortable, slim profile on the wrist.

Despite its ruggedness, the watch maintains a surprisingly sleek footprint for a Master of G model. The watch features a lug-to-lug length of 56.7mm, a case width of 47.3mm, and a profile height of 14.1mm. The watch weighs just 102 grams, making it remarkably lightweight for its substantial size.

This slim profile ensures the watch fits comfortably under flight gear without sacrificing its legendary toughness. Protecting the wide, dimensional face is a spherical sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating to maximize overall dial clarity and visual sharpness, as well as known for its incredible scratch resistance.

The robust construction easily provides an impressive 200-meter water resistance rating for wet operations. It also proudly features a secure screw lock crown to prevent accidental adjustments during intense activity.

G-Shock Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 is completed by a soft urethane band and offers a highly secure, comfortable fit during long, demanding flight missions. The strap comfortably accommodates a wide variety of wrist sizes ranging from 145 to 215 millimeters.

Dial Details

The dial prioritizes immediate, flawless readability for pilots experiencing rapid maneuvers and extreme gravitational acceleration. Casio utilized proprietary precision processing technologies to create a newly developed dark matte dial.

The watch dial is engineered with intricate, microfabricated surface textures. These microscopic patterns are designed to diffuse ambient light and minimize distracting reflections. This anti-reflective design vastly boosts color contrast, allowing the hands to stand out in bright sunlight.

The timepiece also features an innovative in-dial solar charging system, ensuring a continuous and reliable power supply. Because the inset sub-dials capture sufficient light, the main dial retains a deep, opaque black color. The wide, dimensional watch face presents large hands and bold hour indexes for instant time interpretation.

Movement and Features

At the heart of the timepiece lies the newly evolved, solar-powered analog TOUGH MVT. 2 movement. This high-precision mechanism adds advanced digital self-regulating systems to actively withstand severe external cockpit disturbances.

A sophisticated shock detection system automatically expands on traditional periodic time adjustments by correcting misaligned hands instantly. Additionally, an integrated magnetic sensor detects strong magnetic fields and temporarily pauses the watch hand movement. As soon as the magnetic field clears up, the hands don’t waste any time. They quickly snap back to their correct positions to keep perfectly precise time.

The movement features Triple G Resist technology, meaning it withstands impacts, powerful centrifugal forces, and continuous vibrations. It operates reliably via Tough Solar power, using a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 22 months.

To keep the time perfectly accurate, the watch relies on both Multiband 6 radio signals and built-in Bluetooth to link with your smartphone. This dual connection automatically syncs with global time servers and offers access to three hundred world time cities.

Pilots can also utilize a built-in flight log function through the dedicated Casio Watches app. Pressing a button instantly records the current time and precise map coordinates for navigation history.

Other practical features include a one-second stopwatch, a twenty-four-hour countdown timer, and a daily alarm. A high-intensity Super Illuminator white LED light ensures complete legibility in pitch-black environments.
